Liverpool maintain top spot in the Barclays premier league as Arsenal failed to beat Chelsea and fought out a 0-0 draw at the Emirates.
The merseysiders are only ahead on goal difference and will face two mammoth ties against Manchester City and Chelsea in the next few days.
A win for Chelsea could have taken them joint top with Liverpool but only a point means that they drop to 4th place.
The best chance of the game fell for Lampard in the second half who volleyed it off the post.
Both Arsenal and Chelsea attacking players looked bright but could not open up defenses as the teams focused on not conceding/losing more.

Ars’ll go top in dnext few days insha’Allah.
Your not TOP now ( LIVERPOOL ) Get a grip 😉
Mike Dean should quit refereeing and get another job. There’s a table showing his stats: when manc/manu
play , they win 67% under Dean. When arsenal play under dean, they win 6%: this is for a team (arsenal) that are perenially #4. Dean is biased and should be investigated.
Mr. Wenger Should have subed walkot for Cazola After 70 minutes Walkot was poor
For me giroud is the culprit and good for the bench .arsenal can do better by refusing to have dean as referee in their games the fa should investigate their officials for corruption
