Arsenal continued their fantastic run in the premier league and yesterday’s win against Cardiff puts them 7 points clear in the table head of Liverpool and Chelsea.
As expected, the gunners were fluent in their attacking football and created chance after chance against a determined Cardiff side who salvaged a draw against United last weekend.
Ramsey opened the scoring for the visitors in the 29th minute netting home a well timed header from Ozil’s cross but perhaps Arsenal should have scored the first goal of the game back in the 15th minute when Giroud had the best chance.
The French start, like everyone else thought that he was clear offside when Wilshere’s ball was flicked on by Ozil and he stopped playing. Whether the German touched it or not, does not matter because the referee did not raise his flag.
Giroud was convinced he was off and forgot a basic lesson of football i.e. to play to the whistle. You are taught about that in the game every time. Still, Arsenal no. 12 waited for too long for the defenders to come back and the chance was wasted.
Arsene Wenger was furious and rightly so. I’m sure next time Giroud will not even bother looking up for the flag. Here is the GIF.

no.12 stop this madness pull your socks so that you be at the same stage like other scored members.
I think Giroud is bereft of idea what he was taught, l’m sure he might have learnt his lession when next time an opportunity comes his way.
He is tooooo honest and was being flaged all the time he felt shy and was evindently off side after ozil flick and it would have stained our win and the big talking points by the likes of flop owens
i’m disappointed he didn’t play to the whistle, but had he score we’d only hear about the controversial goal and not our deserved win…
