Manchester United Poised to Sign £50m Star

Manchester United need more quality if they want to retain the premier league crown with that strong competition in the league.
They are targeting more than a few players and most importantly they need a quality central midfielder.
With new signing Fellaini not impressing after his big money move from Everton and Carrick injured, United need an experienced CM this January.

According to reports, Manchester United are poised to sign Valencia’s Ever Banega who has a £50m release clause in his contract.

The Red Devils boss also tried to sign him during his Everton days but failed. He has always been an admirer of the Argentine star as he claimed:

“He has very good ability and is a little bit similar to Mikel Arteta in lots of ways in that he can retain the ball and pass it.”

As Valencia failed to qualify for Europe’s elite competition, United can utilize him in the Champions league knock out stages if they can somehow sign him in the January transfer window.
He is one of the most important players at Mestalla but the Spanish club are not in a good financial condition and may as well sell him for a price of 20 million pounds in the next transfer window.
United are not the only top club interested in luring Banega. The likes of Arsenal, Spurs and Juventus are also in the race. Therefore, Man United must act swiftly in winter if they are to sign the quality star.
