Arsenal defeated Marseille in their latest Champions league fixture in midweek to go three points clear in the group of death.
Gunners were dominant all game and could have scored more than 2 goals. Nevertheless, the job was done and only a shocking defeat on last match day can stop them from qualifying.
Wilshere netted two goals on the night, the first one being a brilliant solo effort and the second goal was set up by German star Mesut Ozil.
Arsenal’s record breaking signing however had his penalty saved in the first half and was criticized by the supporters for such a poor effort.
Even Arsene Wenger notified that perhaps former Madrid star should have taken a longer run up. The boss made a cheeky penalty comment saying:
“That’s good news for England, maybe! I agree that everybody can miss a penalty. I think his run-up to the ball was a bit short, but it’s the way he takes them.”
On that, Mesut Ozil replied to the fans and liked the humor of his manager. Here is the image.

Lets encourage Ozil as he adapts to life at the Emirates.other greats have missed penaltes
It happens, so no one, including Ozil, should be crucified. The great Jay Jay Okocha also missed at the 1996 Olympic games semi-final match against Brazil.
Why didn’t wenger buy benteke during the last transfer window when he was unsettled at villa, why now! I think its rather foolish of him as a master in economics! Diabe and bendtner should been long gone as they are dead wood! Why not fraser campbell or remy from newcastle! Come on wake up wenger and smell the coffee!
Walcott is a blow dryer!hot and cold he blows! The gunners need a fox in the box! They could have accquired the defensive services of kolo toure again!but u well and good! Arsene has a lot of pride!
