Liverpool Star Slams Chelsea for their Ridiculous Opinions

Chelsea had one of the brightest prospects in Daniel Sturridge but they did not realize his potential and sold him to Liverpool last January.
For Blues, Sturridge normally used to play out-wide and scored only 15 goals in 55 appearances for them in his two years tenure.
Since joining Liverpool, he has been allowed to play in his favored position as a center forward. Daniel Sturridge has netted 21 goals for the Reds in just 28 appearances while Chelsea are still left with an inconsistent Fernando Torres.
The Liverpool star slammed former club Chelsea for their ridiculous opinions and claimed that the Blues are not bigger than the Reds. Daniel stated:

“The selfish thing – people at Chelsea have an opinion – and everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but for me I was never given an opportunity there,”
“I’m only on for five minutes, I’ve got to try and do something. I’ve got to try and shoot.”
“People have an opinion of me, Daniel Sturridge this, Daniel Sturridge that’ and I’m selfish and this and that, but for me I’ve always tried to help the team win games and here at Liverpool I always try and sit on my opponents and I’m not a selfish player.”

There is no denying the fact that a top striker has to be somewhat selfish at times. You can name the biggest of strikers, may it be Ibra, Falcao they all are. However they all help the team in more ways as well just like DS does for Liverpool.
He provided 7 assists last season has already provided 2 this season. For now, Liverpool are above Chelsea, 2 points ahead and Sturridge will love to help Reds finish above them.
