Arsenal Update – Stars to Return vs Southampton & Everton

Arsenal Update – Stars to Return vs Southampton & EvertonGunners may have lost to Manchester United in their last premier league game but they are still on top of the league.
Arsene Wenger’s men need to keep their focus to bounce back from the defeat and there is no point in panicking.
On a positive note, the North Londoners have been impressive even without key players and the good news is that soon they will be returning to make gunners stronger.
Arsenal’s influential defender Per Mertesacker missed the game at Old Trafford due to illness and there is no denying the fact that the visitors missed him badly against the Red Devils.
Mertesacker is likely to return to the starting XI after the international break vs Southamtpon much to the delight of supporters.
On the other hand, another German star Lukas Podolski has been on the road to recovery.
According to reports, Poldi is set for December return and may as well feature in the home game versus Roberto Martinez’s Everton side.
The return of Podolski will give Arsenal more depth in attack not just at the left wing but also in the striking department as the Kaiser is capable of playing at both positions.
Especially, the position of striker has no depth whatsoever. In games when Giroud is missing, gunners have no backup to rely on. Bendtner has proved again that he is quite average.
The fixtures are only getting harder for Arsenal, can they maintain consistent form to stay on top, we shall see.

well, Poldi is long due back anyways and so is theo. we gunner fans don’t need to panic, but the hard truth can’t be hidden, we lack depth in some major departments & old boy wenger has to make a move come January…at any cost. its not just the premier league for us, its also the champions league and the trophies are still coming to come…we’ve got to get one this time around or the fans may go berserk…patience is wearing thin now, i reckon. something has to be done in January.

We’r starting to see good things ahead, though still needs atleast two class players to atleast bring us back from exile.one striker and one central defender if possible bring back our song as he is regreting for the departure. Those people would confirm the trophy.
