Top of the premier league, top of the Champions League group of death, Arsenal supporters could not have wished for a better start to the new season.
With such results, hopes of ending the long trophy drought are amplifying by the minute but can Arsenal finally deliver a title, we shall see.
Gunners have been the best team in the country in 2013 but they have to carry brilliant form in 2014 to not mess up and for that they do need more signings in January.
There were numerous targets Arsenal failed to sign in summer and reports suggest that gunners are going to renew interest in one of them, Clement Grenier of Lyon.
Gunners failed to lure the attacking midfielder with a $10 million bid in the last transfer window but with French club in not so stable financial condition, they may as well let Grenier move in January.
The big question, as it was in last summer, Do Arsenal really want $10 million Star that Bad?
In 11 league appearances, Grenier has scored 2 goals and provided 3 assists. Yes he is highly talented but Arsenal do not need him at all.
His natural position is central attacking mid, a position held by Arsenal’s record signing Ozil.
Moreover, Wenger has the likes of world class Cazorla, in-form Ramsey, Walcott, Podolski, Chamberlain, Rosicky, Gnabry and even Wilshere (mention if anyone is missed) who do/can play as attacking midfielders.
With so many options at disposal, Gunners should not move for Clement Grenier and must spend $$$ elsewhere. The priority should obviously be a striker.

The gunners shd spend the money on a proven goal scorer. By that I mean someone from the German/Italian /Spanish leagues.I have left out the French league for obvious reasons..
Arsenal not only need a scorer but a dm like Flamini. If Wenger can stop the other side playing, they could finally win the epl.
Diego Costa, Lewandoski, Ba we want but not Rooney. If the Manager wants to sign up dis guy, he is free as i personally see either of Cazorla or Ozil leaving us soon. Also, we need squad players and not stars anymore.
‘reports suggest’. i would love to strangle these rumour mongers.
