€39m Duo Top Man United's List, Chelsea want the Best LB?

Manchester United are slowly but surely getting back to their best and rivals must start worrying as David Moyes settles with his new club.
Red Devils’s boss claimed that his side needs more world class players and after missing out on more than a few last summer. Moyes will look to act swiftly in the winter transfer window.
According to Daily Star, €39m duo top Man United’s wish-list for January as they look to amplify the quality of their squad.
The players in discussion are Atletico’s Koke and Real Madrid’s Angel Di Maria. Both Madrid teams are playing Champions league football and hence it is going to be difficult for United to lure them mid-season.
Koke has been in fantastic form this season, in 13 league appearances, the 21 year old star has netted twice and provided no less than 8 assists. Di Maria also started the season brightly but since Bale’s return, he has lost the starting place and that may as well help United in this case.
On the other hand, Chelsea’s boss Jose Mourinho has a quality squad at his disposal but there are problems, especially with the Old Guard.
Terry is performing well but Lampard and Ashley Cole have been quite average. According to reports, Chelsea want Bayern Munich’s left back Philipp Lahm to replace Cole at Stamford Bridge.
Perhaps the Blues want the best LB in Lahm but again signing him is easier said than done. Bayern are currently the best side in the world and Lahm is their captain. Having won the treble, he has more chances of winning trophies with Bayern than with Chelsea.
Therefore, it is highly unlikely that Chelsea can lure Lahm. Also, Mourinho should look for a younger player as Lahm is himself 30 years old and there is no point signing him to replace 32 year old Cole.
Blues are also looking at Wolfsburg youngster Ricardo Rodriguez, 21. Who will they sign this winter, we shall see.
