Sturridge on Chelsea Legend's Advice & Playing Against Suarez

When Liverpool signed Daniel Sturridge in January, a few eyebrows were raised that whether he will be a decent signing for reds or not.
Notably, Alex Ferguson stated that the merseysiders gambled on him.Well he has that habit of getting things wrong these days. Nevertheless, since joining, Sturridge has been no less than World Class.

Talking about his brilliant form, Daniel praised sports psychiatrist Dr Steve Peters for giving him self belief and helping him to a fantastic start this season.
He met former team mate and Chelsea legend Drogba in summer and Ivorian advised him on the exact same thing that mental belief is the most important thing. Sturridge claimed:

“I saw Didier (Drogba) in Miami this summer. He said the strongest thing an individual footballer can have is the mental. It’s not about the tactical, it’s not about the technical, it’s not about the physical. If you believe in yourself, that will set you apart.”

Liverpool fans are loving the partnership of Suarez and Sturridge (SAS) upfront who are scoring for fun at the moment.
Daniel Sturridge revealed that it has been a long time since Suarez and him have been in the same team in training, he normally plays against Suarez in different team.

“Me and Luis (Suarez) haven’t played together long and we’re near enough always on opposite teams in training. There’s not much chance to learn each other’s moves but together we just click. We’ve not worked on it, it just happens.”
