Newcastle United are currently 11th in the English premier league having earned 10 points from seven fixtures and will host Liverpool football club next.
Last time Reds visited St. James’ Park, they absolutely dismantled the home side scoring 6 goals past them.
The visitors were without their star man Luis Suarez then but will have him for the early kick off on Saturday.
NUFC star Vurnon Anita cannot forget the 6-0 thrashing received at the hands of Liverpool and is looking for revenge this time around. He told The Chronicle:
“The last game against Liverpool was obviously not good for us. We are in better shape and a better mood now,”
“We have to put what happened to one side but we cannot completely forget what they did to us.”
“It is now our turn to do it against them. I think both teams are actually better than last season. It is going to be a good game, a tough game, and one we are looking forward to.”
After two successive defeats in the league, Newcastle bounced back against newcomers Cardiff, defeating them 2-1 in their own backyard.
However, Liverpool are a completely different prospect and will be favorites to beat the home side again with the kind of form they are in.
Reds have scored 6 goals in their last two premier league games, earning maximum points and will hope to continue the fantastic start with another win against Newcastle.
