Liverpool were linked with numerous attacking midfielders last summer but in the end they opted to loan Chelsea’s Victor Moses for the first team.
However, once again the Reds are reportedly interested in a number of playmakers. Two of those are PSG starlets that are not happy at the club i.e. Pastore and Menez.
Metro suggests that Liverpool are likely to revive interest in €12m French international Menez in January.
The merseysiders were looking to lure the attacking midfielder in summer but in the end he stayed at the French club. However, that was perhaps a huge mistake as he has been able to start only one league fixture.
He played 30 league games for PSG last season, scored 5 goals and provided 7 assists but now has become a regular bench warmer.
Liverpool can take advantage of the situation and have the chance to sign star for cheap as it is likely that now he will be available for a price less than the mentioned one because the player wants out.
There is no denying the fact that Pastore is more highly rated and technically better than 26 year old Menez and Reds should move for the Argentine instead of him.
However, there is going to be heavy competition for Pastore and if they fail to lure him, Menez is not a bad option either. We shall see how the saga concludes in winter.

I dont think we need to sign another no.10 like Pastore since such signing would push Coutinho to the bench, it’ll be best if we call back Suso since his performance for Almeria has been superb.
Earlier in the summer, i thought Rodgers should have put in more effort to signing him menez and Kevin Gremeiro,He instead opted for Aspas and Alberto,though both will come good in time.But i think the former pair would have made the squad more competitive at relatively bargain prices,cos french players rarery come bad in the EPL.Hopefully Rodgers will take advantage of PSG,Chelsea,Bayern and Man city over expansive squads.

I think Liverpool need a winger rather then a #10 since we have Coutinho and Suso .. For a winger I prefer Andiry Yarmolenko of Kiev..fantastic left foot..quick with skills..young that hunger..YNWA.
