El Clasico – Ronaldo Reminded it was not Juventus

Barcelona go six points clear of their arch rivals Real Madrid in La liga after defeating Los Blancos 2-1 in the first El Clasico of the season.
For the first time in a long time, the limelight was not on Ronaldo and Messi. Instead, it was on expensive signings, Neymar and Bale.
The first half was all about Barcelona. The Catalan side dominated the play and Neymar was their most prolific forward and deservedly opened the scoring.
On the other hand, Former Spurs star was finding it hard to settle, who can blame him, it was his second start and perhaps Ancelotti should have brought him from the bench. What is more baffling, Isco was not even utilized at all
Nevertheless, Real Madrid battled back in the second half and should have earned a deserved penalty as Ronaldo was clear through and Mascherano brought him down in the box.
However, the referee and the linesman had other ideas and play continued. Ronaldo and Madrid players were in disbelief and the former United star was furious with the decision.
In the mid-week, Madrid got a lot of big decisions in their favor to defeat Juventus. The biggest was Chiellini’s red card that was handed thanks to Ronaldo’s play acting.
This time though, Ronaldo was not acting, he fell down for real on a genuine unfair tackle by Barca star but did not get the decision his way. Ronaldo was reminded that it was not Juventus and definitely not Bernabeu.
At Nou Camp, decisions normally go Barca’s way.
Later on, Sanchez doubled Barca’s lead with a fantastic chip to seal three points for the champions as Jese’s injury time goal meant nothing but consolation for Madrid.
