Arsenal football club may as well be flying high in all competitions this season thus far.
However, they have hit a massive low because of one young midfielder.
Gunners U-18 starlet Jack Jebb has been punished by Football Association for racially abusing an opponent.
According to Daily Star, the FA has handed him four match ban for the same.
The youngster signed for the London club back in last September and was heavily praised by the club as a technically gifted midfielder.
Arsenal claimed:
“(Jebb)A technically-gifted central midfielder.”
“Jebb joined Arsenal’s academy a year early and has reaped the rewards, making his breakthrough into the under-18 side last season.”
The incident happened back in March during a game versus Norwich and the act of abuse was informed by the match officials.
Along with a 4-game ban, Jebb has also been fined 1800 pounds.
