Arsenal Injury Latest: Star a Week or so Away from Action

Arsenal suffered Carling Cup elimination last night at the hands of Jose Mourinho’s in-form Chelsea side.
Arsene Wenger opted to bench big names like Ozil and Giroud but even they could not help gunners revival after coming on in the second period.
The defeat clearly indicated that the North London side are lacking depth. Few major stars are out injured which only made things worst.
However, as far as the latest injury news is concerned, German international Lukas Podolski is close to returning.
The former Bayern star posted pictures on social media and claimed that hopefully he “can run on Monday”
Poldi looked fresh in the pictures and if he does come back on the field on Monday then he will surely return to action sooner rather than later.
A week or so should be enough for him to get match fit and Wenger may as well hand him some game time.
Arsenal badly need their star players like Walcott, Chamberlain and Flamini fit to enhance squad depth and quality, much needed to stay on top of the premier league.
Moreover, further signings are without a doubt required or Arsenal may as well have to finish yet another year without a title.
