Manchester United badly needed a center midfielder this summer and eventually ended up signing Everton’s Marouane Fellaini.
The Belgian star is flexible and adds to all the departments on the field minus goalkeeping ofcourse.
However, they surely need more stars to reinforce certain positions.
One of those main positions is that of a winger. David Moyes may have renewed the contract of Luis Nani but the Portuguese is far too inconsistent.
At times Nani produces moments of brilliance but these days those moments do not arrive very often and Moyes must sign a quality winger next.
With funds available in the January transfer window, Manchester United must reignite interest in Benfica’s Nicolas Gaitan.
United have been linked with the talented Argentine but never made serious intent to lure him.
Last year in just 11 league starts for Benfica, the 25 year old playmaker scored 3 goals and provided no less than 9 assists.
Gaitan is mainly utilized on the left wing but also plays centrally and will provide the much needed service Robin van Persie is missing lately.
His contract runs until 2016 and has a buyout clause of 45 million Euros but a £20m bid should be enough to lure him.

There must be a reson why he only made 11 starts.
it true there shouid be a reason why he start only 11 games last season. What man united is a player like modric or herrera. And a defender like garay and mangala.
or Demba Ba 😉
