Liverpool Legend – Star Ready for the Premier League

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher retired at the end of last season and much was talked about who will replace him at Anfield.
Kolo Toure has arrived on a free transfer and has been in fantastic form for the reds. Liverpool will hope that he is fit for the game against Swansea.
However, the Ivorian international is a short term solution in Carra’s absence. Vetaran, 32 years old, Toure surely has his best days behind him but is doing a wonderful job for the merseysiders as of now.
The one player that can actually be considered as the best replacement for Jamie Carragher is Liverpool’s marquee signing this summer.
Signed for 18 million, Sakho is a bright prospect for the reds, one for the future.
Liverpool legendary defender also believes that Sakho is going to be a major hit in the premier league. Carra claimed:

“He’s at a great age, physically he’s ready for the Premier League, it will just be interesting to see where the manager brings him in”
“He’s left-sided and there’s competition for places everywhere now.”

The 23 year old French international can be brilliant asset for Liverpool.
Brendan Rodgers’s side has vastly benefited from their solid defense this season and the manager made further reinforcements on the final day to ensure that last year’s defensive inconsistencies are not repeated.
