Liverpool: 10-1 Last 4 Games, 5-2 First 4 Games

Liverpool finally conceded their first goals of this premier league campaign and also lost their perfect winning record after drawing 2-2 against Swansea last night.
Reds are still top of the premier league table with 10 points and deserve to be there.
However, there are certain aspects Liverpool can improve that can make them even better and may as well ensure at least Champions League qualification this season.
The merseysiders have relied heavily on Daniel Sturridge and their fantastic defense for the first three victories. Versus Swansea, that defense was missing as Agger was out and Toure was not fully fit and Reds could have ended up losing as well.
Liverpool went into half time leading 2-1. In all four PL games, they have gone into half time break leading the opponents with a single goal after impressive display. However, we have not yet seen Liverpool’s flowing attacking football in the second halves this season.
For some reason, even against weaker oppositions, they have opted to hold back for counter attacks instead of finishing their opponents once and for all with a killer goal. Completely different strategy to what they had last season.
Liverpool were scoring for fun in the later stages of last season, not just with Suarez but also without him. In the last 4 PL games (Suarez was banned), Liverpool won 3, drew 1, scored no less than 10 goals and only conceded one.
Reds have the same record in the first four PL games of the new season as well (what matters most) with 3 wins and 1 draw but have scored 5 goals (4 thanks to Sturridge) and conceded 2.
Surely, they will be favorites to beat Southampton at Anfield next weekend and that is perhaps the best possible game for them to open the floodgates.
They are likely to have their first choice defenders next weekend (minus Johnson) and probably the goal scoring will be amplified when their best player Luis Suarez returns.
