Perhaps Arsene Wenger thought that a win on the opening day of the season would help reduce the outcry of fans who are utterly disappointed by club’s transfer policy. A home fixture against Villa was a good bet but disaster followed.
Despite promising that top players will be signed, Arsenal wasted time while bidding for players way below their asking price. Now that they have lost the opening fixture, Wenger comes up and says that there are no top players available, Ridiculous.
Only few days are left before the transfer window closes but Arsenal continue their usual habit. The habit of getting their first bid rejected just because they do not like paying high enough.
Latest reports suggest that Gunners have offered Newcastle 10 million pounds to hire the services of Yohan Cabaye. But Pardew confirms that Arsenal’s bid has been rejected straightaway.
This will boil the fans even more. What more indication do Arsenal need to change their way of dealing transfers. Spurs have signed world-class players without being in the Champions League but Arsenal still want to waste time.
When was the last time Arsenal had their first bid NOT rejected? Why do they always start with a hopeless offer?
Why do they not just pay the asking price for a proven player? Gustavo, Higuain, Suarez, how many more disappointments?
Champions League qualification has been the barometer of satisfaction for Arsenal and its supporters over the years. If things do not change soon, they may as well forget about qualifying for CL too.

Wenger has no real intention of buying world class…even players of yesteryear who turned out really good were bought cheaply….thus he thinks he knows what what..but he doesnt…I dont think he wants to spend real cash but only to prove how clever he is…if our team do well in Turkey, then watch him, he doesnt care what anybody thinks about him.

Arsen Wenger is one of the best managers in the history of the Premier League with a proven track record ,but the men on Arsenal’s board are more interested in profit than success they are not football people but businessmen,now you may say that is the same at just about every club,but most seem to find a happy medium.For years now they have relied on Wenger’s managerial skills to succeed,but they are not interested in winning trophies,I mean what pays the most a cup win or qualification in the Champions League,but I think this year they have pushed it a little too far,and as it is,Arsenal will not get their top four finish,but is that down to Arsen Wenger NO !!
