Chelsea are interested in highly rated Portuguese winger Armindo Tué Na Bangna, more famously known as Bruma. The 18 year old has been the shining star of the ongoing U20 World Cup and his performances have attracted interested from top European Clubs.
The Blues and Turkish champions Galatasaray have reportedly made offers for the youngster. Bruma played thirteen games for Sporting last season, scored a goal and provided 4 assists. However, it is his stats with Portugal’s U20 squad that has made the world notice, 5 goals in 5 appearances for the national side at U20 World Cup.
His agent claimed:
“I was in charge of presenting offers to Sporting,there are offers from foreign clubs, from Chelsea and from Galatasaray, worth €8 million, that could reach €12 million.”
“From this moment on, considering that he is a highly coveted player, it is possible that more offers will arrive, because I know that several clubs were waiting for the best moment to make a move. Right now, Bruma’s mind is not on Sporting.”
Chelsea may seal the deal for €8 Million but the real question is that do they really need him?
Jose Mourinho already has top quality stars at his disposal, especially so many quality attacking midfielders such as the likes of Oscar, Hazard, Mata and lately Schurrle has signed who can play both out wide and centrally.
Then to add another winger, Bruma, that too who is still very young makes little sense. The 18 year old will not be able to start many games with Chelsea and hence there is no point of splashing €8 Million on him.
Signing him will mean repeating the same mistake as when they splashed a hefty sum to land Romelu Lukaku from Anderlecht. The Belgian striker has a lot of potential but even after spending that heavily, Chelsea loaned him out last season and his place is still in doubt with the club.
According to Bruma’s agent, the player’s mind is not with Sporting right now, however it is better for him to not chase $$$, stay with the club or sign for one where he can gain more experience with first team football. Whether or not Chelsea will still sign him, only time will tell.

yes and why not ? the big club like Chelsea Fc need men power to kick the ball to be the winner therefore wise spending on quality players is a win win game for the best and elite club of Europe, so Chelsea Fc should have a player like Bruma .

let face the reality, we need a swinger but let not keep somany players in our disposal Sothat we cannot cheat them.
The club should continually evolve by signing promising youngplayers. They may not need him today, or even tomorrow, but he is one for the future. To say that we shouldn’t sign him because we don’t need him is ridiculously short sighted.
In my own opinion and advise about the talented young boy is for CFC is to seal the signification of the boy, not just cos of today but for the future, for an example E.G! To me nothing is wrong for him to come to chelsea. We can still loan him out just as we did Lukaku. We need young player for future use. So to me Bruma is highly welcome. Tnkx.

Cfc don’t need him. There are so many young & better players like Piazon ,18, Islam Feruz 17, in thesame position not to talk of Oscar, Hazard, De Bruyne, Moses, Van Ginkel, & Shurrle all of whom can be realied upon for the next 8-10 years.

It is a good idea to cash that kind to bruma in-order the spending of more than £35m in the coming 2or3 seasons their the future will be bright for our club and then maintain UEFA financial fair play rule.
