Former Manchester United super star Cristiano Ronaldo has been in the limelight due to concerns regarding his future at Real Madrid. Much has been said about the Portuguese winger’s potential return to Old Trafford but there are no concrete reports as yet.
Lately, rumors suggested Ronaldo has signed a mammoth contract offered by Los Blancos to ensure that their best player does not leave the club. President Florentino Perez also claimed that he will do anything to make sure Ronaldo is happy and will stay with Real Madrid.
However today, Ronaldo turned up on twitter to deny any reports suggesting that he has signed a new contract with 9 time European Champions. Cristiano claimed:
All the news about my renewal with Real Madrid are false.

Obviously, the tweet actually played with the hearts of many United fans who have again started to believe that return of their former number 7 is perhaps possible again.
On the other hand, his former team mate and Manchester United defender turned to Facebook to respond to Ronaldo’s concerns suggesting him to get some rest and he is there to help. As the link provided and screenshot below indicates:
Nevertheless, as mentioned, there are no concrete reports as yet about Ronaldo’s possible return to United however for now he has himself added fire to rumors after denying any contract renewal with Madrid.
