Not so long ago, Shinji Kagawa was Dortmund’s star man and helped the side win Bundesliga title scoring 13 league goals in 2011. Such was his quality, Sir Alex Ferguson took notice and splashed 17 million pounds to hire the services of Japanese International.
However, since completing his move to Old Trafford, Shinji Kagawa has found it hard to earn a starting place in Manchester United. Adding to that, when he did start, majority of the times that was out of position as a winger or CM and rarely in his favored role as a Central attacking midfielder.
Last month, Dortmund’s manager Jurgen Klopp claimed how bad he feels about the way Kagawa is treated at United. Klopp stated talking to Guardian:
“Shinji Kagawa is one of the best players in the world and he now plays 20 minutes at Manchester United – on the left wing”
“My heart breaks. Really, I have tears in my eyes”
“Central midfield is Shinji’s best role. He’s an offensive midfielder with one of the best noses for goal I ever saw.”
Although, Kagawa did win the premier league title in his first season in England but little did he contribute in that as the Japanese could only start 17 league games for Sir Alex Ferguson’s side and scored 6 goals.
The Red Devils may as well be selling Wayne Rooney this summer and that might give Kagawa the chance to play behind the striker but surely United will sign a replacement if the former Evertonian leaves. Adding to that, United are currently linked with many top quality stars as well.
Now that the legendary manager has retired and David Moyes is in charge, will Kagawa get his deserved chance in his preferred central attacking midfield position? Only time will tell.

Yes,I believe kagawa can take the premier league by stom next season but that’s if wayne is gone because right now most fans still believe man united still need rooney but I bet you man united does not need the service of rooney any more cause kagawa will surly shine if he plays in his favoured postion.
