The Amount Chelsea Have to Pay to Sign Ronaldo

Understandable that the title got your attention but no point getting all excited for now as Ronaldo’s move to Chelsea is still a speculation. The former Manchester United super star has been linked with a return to premier league but in blue colors of Chelsea.
It is rumored that in-coming manager Jose Mourinho may look to bring along his compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo to Stamford Bridge. Although such a transfer is highly unrealistic as things stand but the rumor will not disappear any soon.
In any case, supposedly if there is a chance that Chelsea can sign Real Madrid’s goal scoring machine then the question is, what will be the amount they have to pay to sign Ronaldo?
The former Red Devil man left Old Trafford to join Los Blancos in a deal worth 80 million pounds. Since then he has only improved, reached his peak and scored goals for fun for the Spanish side.
Although Ronaldo is closing in on the age bracket of 30s but still he is showing no signs of slowing down. Keeping wages aside, the transfer amount surely would be more than what Madrid paid for him.
Will 100 million pounds be enough to convince Madrid?
No one can deny that the transfer market is already inflated and clubs demand hefty sums for their key players. Adding to that, French club Monaco have announced themselves with some big name signings.
A reported 60 million may as well be paid by Monaco to hire the services of Colombian star Radamel Falcao who is arguably one of the best strikers in the world.
With prices touching the sky, may be even 100 million pounds will not be enough to sign a player like Cristiano Ronaldo. As mentioned, the move is highly unlikely but well, we shall see how the saga unfolds.
