La Liga Week 12 Final Scores

Rayo Vallecano and Getafe played a 1-1 draw at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez on Monday. The game had a poor start, but after the break it came to life.

The teams were unable to achieve serious attacks during the first half of the game. During the second 45 minutes the hosts were threatened. Víctor Rodríguez had a few chances and worked hard to go forward. Jozabed was the key figure at both sides of the fields as his own goal gave Getafe the lead, but later on he scored a point for his team, too.

In the 58th minute Juan Rodríguez passed Víctor Rodríguez and his delivery was turned into his net by Jozabed. After 72 minutes the team was awarded a penalty after handball of Carlos Vigaray. Jozabed stoke and scored. Three minutes later Getafe were close to take the lead again, but the ball deflected on to the bar and it did not cross the line.

Despite the game ended 1-1, it was an underwhelming result for both teams.

With this match the end of the entertaining and critical Week 12 of La Liga came. Barcelona are on the top of the table with 30 points, followed by Atlético Madrid with 26 and Real Madrid with 24.

During the weekend’s action Real Madrid played against Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. The game ended 4-0 in favour of Barcelona. The victory moved Luis Enrique’s men six point up in the La Liga’s table.

In the 11th minute of the game Luis Suárez scored with the assistance of Luis Suárez. Neymar doubled the result and proved himself once again. He is one of the driving forces of the team. Eight minutes into the second half Andrés Iniesta stroke from the edge of the box and made the result 3-0. In the 74th minute Suárez scored again.

Atlético Madrid won a 1-0 victory over Real Betis. The team took advantage of Real’s loss and moved to the 2nd place at La Liga. Koke managed to score an early goal and it was enough to defeat Real Betis.

Celta de Vigo suffered a second loss at the spin. They played against Deportivo de La Coruña and were defeated 0-2. In the 23th minute of the game Lucas scored the first goal. Jonny Castro accidently stoke towards his own net in the 90th minute.

Celta de Vigo are tied on points with Villarreal. Both teams have 21 points.

Real Sociedad won an impressive 2-0 victory over Sevilla. Imanol Agirretxe and Xabier Prieto scored the goals.
