Agent Cezary Cucharsky Confirms Real Madrid’s Interest in Robert Lewandowski

The speculations that Real Madrid is interested in signing a contract with the Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski were finally confirmed by the latter’s agent Cezary Cucharsky. Rumours have recently escalated, unveiling that the Spanish football giant is aimed at buying the player, especially considering the last week’s reports that suggested Cristiano Ronaldo would be sold by Real Madrid in order for finance the deal with Lewandowski.

Cezary Cucharsky was reported by Jose Felix Diaz to have said: “You cannot deny there is interest from Real Madrid”. On the other hand, the player himself commented that there had been no contact over the last few months, but such talks would not be a surprise at this stage. Diaz has also reported that Lewandowski is learning Spanish. The striker has been wooed by the Spanish grand twice before, which would also explain the great interest of Real Madrid in the player.

Lewandowski, who is 27 years old, is believed to be in breathtaking form this season. He is considered a player with ruthless finishing skills, but also with great power in the air. He is one of the players with largest success rate in the league over this season – he has been reported with the impressive 71% shot accuracy rate and 28.6% conversion rate in the leagues.

The Polish attacker has already struck a total of 19 goals in 18 games for Bayern Munich. Fourteen of these strikes were scored in 11 Bundesliga games within the season. He also played a crucial part in getting Poland to the 2016 UEFA European Championship that is to take place in France next summer. Lewandowski’s contract with Bayern Munich is to expire in 2019.

The striker’s form undoubtedly puts him among the best football players in the world, which even made the Bundesliga expert Clark Whitney suggest that he should be appointed as the best contemporary No.9. Truly, Lewandowski has managed to win thousands of supporters globally, such as the football journalist Rik Sharma, who shared his belief that Bayern Munich’s striker is probably the only player who is capable of replacing Karim Benzema at Real Madrid.

Football experts believe that it is not very likely for a player of his quality to be sold over a transfer window in January, especially considering the fact that he is already playing for a high-quality team such as the one of Bayern Munich. Still, they are guessing that Lewandowski is preparing himself for an eventual move to the Spanish grand, saying that it would not be surprising if the striker trades Munich for Madrid in the summer of 2016.
