Manchester United were interested in more than a few players when David Moyes was in charge of the club.
Even though now the former Everton boss is gone, United are still active with the deals he was working on.
One player who has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford is Southampton star Luke Shaw.
It has been a complex transfer saga thus far as as per rumors, one the highly rated defender is joining United, the other day he is not.
According to ESPN, Manchester United are “very close” to signing Luke Shaw despite Saint’s recent denial.
The England international is rated around $50m and is favorite to be selected in Roy Hodgson’s World squad for Brazil.
He has been named in the PFA team of the year and that easily explains why he is so highly rated and why top clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea are after his signature.
Shaw has been one of the most consistent players in the league and it is remarkable for an 18 year old boy. United must do all to sign him.
