Liverpool humiliated Norwich and scored 5 past them once again to retain their top 4 spot. Who else, but Luis Suarez was at it again who became the first player to score 3 hattricks against an opposition.
The remarkable fact is that Suarez has only faced Norwich 4 times. Uruguayan netted 4 spectacular goals to lead the goal scoring charts once again. Suarez has now scored 13 league goals in just 9 league appearances this season.
No doubt whatsoever that he is the best player in the league and that is exactly the reason why Liverpool wanted to hold onto him against all odds.
After the match, Suarez provided Liverpool a massive transfer boost with the news that he is going nowhere in January and will help merseysiders achieve their objectives.
With regular world class performances, his demand has even further amplified and speculations rose again that Suarez may as well depart in the winter transfer window.
However, much to the delight of Liverpool faithfulm Luis has brushed aside all the rumors and reiterated that he is happy at the club and will stay. Suarez claimed:
“I am happy here and I will stay.”
“The main thing is that we qualify for the Champions League after a long time out of the top four. I want to help the team achieve that.”
Liverpool will not have to worry about their star man this winter and can concentrate in reinforcing other departments such as central midfield.
If Suarez remains out of trouble and maintains this kind of unreal form then Liverpool, without a shadow of a doubt, will qualify for the Champions League.

Rodgers has to start buying a better quality of player, because the likes of Allen Borini Aspas Assaidi & Alberto for £45.000.000 Million Pound ( Are not going to cut it ) BIG WAIST !!! And he’s also SHAMBOLIC AT LOAN SIGNINGS,Moses the LAZIEST PLAYER EVER…
Deano is an idiot.
B Rodgers needs to be backed well in January by the owners, then he needs to spend it wisely on players who will come straight into first team and stake a claim: No more Alberto, Assaidi, Aspas, Borini or Moses type players. Players who are simply dead wood average at best and not good enough for the club
The owners need to give B Rodgers 60-70M in January to bring in these five players:
Two players to sort out our: diabolical, soft, lacking in creativity, lacking in scoring goals, unproductive, not mobile, sluggish, centre midfield:
Two Good centre midfielders to bring class, creativity, fight, goals, mobility, power, strength and to control and dominate the centre of park:
1: DM: M’Vila(23) Of Rubin Kazan for 10-15M to compete and Cover Lucas Leiva
2: CM: Y Cabaye(27) Of Newcastle for 14-18M to compete and Cover Henderson
Two class quality pacey quick creative goalscoring wingers on either wing: To provide good quality service to our attacking midfielder and strikers
3: RW / RWF: M Salah(21) Of Basel for 12-16M to play on the right wing or right hand side of attack to compete and cover Sterling
4: LW / LWF: D Capel(25) Of Sporting Clube De Portugal / Lisbon for 4-6M to play on the left wing or left hand side of attack to compete and cover IBE
And a striker to compete and cover sturridge: No Aspas, No Borini’s:
5: L Remy(26) Of QPR, one of these two strikers should be brought to club for 5-8M
These 5 players would cost club 60-70m but would help us maintain our the top 4 pursuit all the way through to May.
But with our current poor weak squad, We will struggle to keep the top 4 pursuit up come february and then we will end up in 6-10 position in league.
Being blunt, honest and truthful, I love my team but we have too many dead wood average players at the club. And that is why we have now become a top 6-10 side for the last 5 and half seasons and it is the main reason why L Suarez wanted to jump ship in the summer.
If the owners back B Rodgers well with some serious investment and he brings in M’Vila(23) DM, Cabaye(27) CM, Capel(25) LW / LWF, Salah(21) and Remy(26) FD these five are players of Coutinho(21), Gerrard(33) and Sturridge(24) class and calibre.
Whereas the likes Lucas (26) DM, Henderson(23) CM , Allen (24) CM, IBE(17) LW / LWF, Aspas(26) LW / LWF, Moses(22) RW /RWF and Stering(18) RW / RWF are nowhere near the calibre and class of Coutinho(21) , Gerrard(33), Sturridge(24) and Suarez(26).
salah is a young prospect and Liverpool should surely go forward for him. He is much better not only by strength but creativity also than Sterling and Moses. for midfield, your suggestions are great..our midfield is just invisible on pitch sometimes. Allen is doing a pretty good job but not enough. and last i’d would say, our defense is sometimes staggering..toure has been good in the first few matches but we can’t afford to take much risks..it’s high time for Sakho and Agger to step in rather than toure. we just need to strike the perfect defensive combination.
Turn off the xbox. Turn it back on and pick Everton.
As much as we would like see big names sign for us, chances are that it will not happen. Big time players want to play in UCL. Until we achieve that objective, the most likely scenario would be to bring an unknown or underrated talent ( ala Coutinho). Personally, I still feel there’s good quality out there for us to pursue. If United are successful with Everton or Herrera, then we should go for Matic or Jorginho. If Arsenal get Draxler, then Xhaka (Gladbach) or Salah(Basel) are just as good. If United win their race for Koke, we have Fernando ( Porto) or Cabaye. Great loan deals still exist. Xhakiri, Alex Song, Rodwell, Pato are all potential loanees. I’m glad to hear we’re pursuing Lucas Moura on loan from PSG. He would be electric. The key is good scouting. BR has one of the most recognized scouting network in the EPL. He can, and probably will bring in another few great gems.
Denis d I agree with you 1000% the players you have there are possible to get and are a better class of player then what we have. Our mid has to be the poorest in the top half of the table its sickening sometimes. Lucus Henderson and Allen are nowhere near the type of level we need and gerrard is getting on. If we are gonna compete we have to invest in the mid of the park or it’s 6-8th again I feel
Our defence problems are a bit random because on paper we have a strong back line. I think BR needs to go bk to the line that wasn’t conceding at the start of the season Johnson toure agger Enrique/ flanno
