Manchester United fans are still waiting for their first top signing under new manager David Moyes and it looks likely that they want Everton’s Marouane Fellaini as the one.
Latest reports suggest that United are to come up with another bid for the Belgian international and hope that this time 20 million pounds offer will do the job.
However, with players moving for such hefty amounts this transfer window, Everton will most probably reject United’s second bid as well.
Fellaini is arguably Everton’s best player and Martinez will not let his prized asset leave for cheap to re-unite with former boss David Moyes.
The Belgian midfielder is naturally a defensive mid player, however has the ability to add both into attack and defense. Adding to that he is a decent passer of the ball.
Having failed to sign top midfield transfer targets like Alcantara and Fabregas, Moyes will be adamant not to lose out on one of his own players.
United may as well be in pole position to sign Fellaini but must up their bid before the transfer window closes on Monday.
Moyes drew his first game at Old Trafford in a tough fixture against Chelsea who could not even create a single clear cut goal scoring opportunity.
Positives signs are inevitable and United need to add few quality players in their lineup to ensure they can retain the premier league crown as their rivals have reinforced squad heavily.
