Wayne Rooney transfer saga has taken another turn and latest reports suggest that the Manchester United star wants to move to Chelsea. Rooney’s frustration is amplifying and it seems he has only one solution that is to leave.
David Moyes is not changing his stance one bit on this situation and will do it all to keep Rooney at Old Trafford. On the other hand, according to Telegraph, Rooney does not see his future at United and is urging the new manager to let him leave the club, much to the disappointment of fans and team mates.
Chelsea legend and former assistant manager Ray Wilkins believes that Wayne Rooney should stay at United and moving to Stamford Bridge will be a massive mistake and step down for the England International. Wilkins stated:
“Once you leave Manchester United there’s only one way you’re going.”
“Man United are in the top three biggest clubs on the planet, therefore they will always buy and buy and buy because they always want to be successful”
Although Wilkins did state that he would love to see Roo in the blue shirt of Chelsea but he firmly believes that United is the best club for any player to win titles in England.
It makes complete sense that United always win titles regularly but Rooney is surely looking to move for personal problems not professional ones.
With the return of Jose Mourinho, Chelsea are expected to become the same force again as they were during his first tenure. However, the league is very different now and has gone on to become harder than ever.
