Manchester United have already spent a lot under the management of Jose Mourinho and if the latest reports are anything to go by then they are ready to splash more cash to strengthen the Portuguese manager’s team.
Two days back, Diario Gol reported that Marco Asensio is open to leaving the Los Blancos if he continues to warm the bench behind big names at the Bernabeu.
Moreover, yesterday, another Spanish source came up with an interesting story. Don Balon reported that Manchester United are ready to offer 200 million euros to hire the services of the talented playmaker next year.
It is stated that United have offered Marco a deal that will make him the highest paid player in the Premier League. The offer mentioned is worth 27 million euros a season (£23.9million-a-year, £460,000-a-week).

The 21-year-old star was fantastic for the Los Blancos last season and he started this season in brilliant fashion as well.
Still, with top quality players present in every position at Real Madrid, Asensio has found himself on the bench more often than not. He has not started a single Champions League game this season. Overall, in all competitions, he has scored 7 goals and provided 2 assists in 18 appearances in the current campaign.
As per the provided Don Balon link, the above mentioned insane offer for Asensio would be for five seasons. At the moment, United’s highest earning superstar is their record signing Paul Pogba who gets around £290,000-a-week (Star).

Asencio is no doubt a star and with age still on his side. But for that amount of salary a week…..no way. He’s not gonna live up to it. He will be a flop if he gets such money
There seems to be a myth surrounding united and their past spending a. You say united have spent big under Mourinho. Delay Januzaj Schneiderlin paid for lukaku, Zlatan was free (again) so this calender year they haven’t spent much. This guys wages are cheaper than Rooney and Schweinstigers also. United are supposedly the biggest team in the transfer market now with biggest following, revenue etc.
