Deal Close – How Chelsea will Line up with $99million Star

Lukaku ChelseaBack in 2011, Chelsea signed Romelu Lukaku under the management of Andre Villas-Boas. At that time, Drogba was their main man and six month later, the Blues signed Fernando Torres from Liverpool.
Lukaku could only feature in 10 league games for the London club before Jose Mourinho sold him to Everton. The 23-year-old striker had a fantastic last season with the Toffees and new Chelsea manager Antonio Conte wants to re-sign the center forward.
Chelsea are close to signing Lukaku who is rated around 75 million pounds ($99million), however, they are hoping to seal a deal for a fee of 60 million pounds (Evening Standard).
In the last campaign, the former Anderlecht star scored 25 goals and provided 7 assists in 46 appearances for Everton.
The Blues have already signed one Belgian striker this summer by luring Batshuayi. If Lukaku arrives then he will surely be the first choice center forward. Moreover, in such a scenario, Diego Costa may leave the club as well.
