Tottenham Hotspur need reinforcements in almost every department and that too of quality players if they are to achieve the objectives next season.
They have a top class striker in the form of Harry Kane but he is the only potent forward in the squad.
Spurs are linked with a move for highly rated Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke and signing him will largely improve their strike-force.
As far as attackers are concerned, someone like Lavezzi can prove fruitful despite the fact that the Argentine is 30 years old.
The North Londoners still need to reinforce their defense even after securing the signature of young Kevin Wimmer.
Mauricio Pochettino faces the midfield conundrum and must look to secure signing of a proven midfielder.
However, for now reports suggest that Tottenham are closing in on Bayern Munich’s 19 year old versatile midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and are lining up transfer move.
The Danish international spent second half of last season on loan with Ausburg, scored 2 goals and provided 3 assists. Bayern already have world class players in their midfield and Hojbjerg is struggling to get in the starting XI and Spurs move may be the answer. He did make 8 league appearances for the German champions last season.
Capable of playing as DM, CM as well as AM, Pochettino can take advantage from youngster’s versatility. Highly unlikely that he will get straight into Spurs starting XI but must be given fair chance.

Lavezzi is not what Tottenham needs unless he’s a free on a 1 year contract.
Tottenham have a plethora of aged strikers.
Unless they plan to join an over 30s league – Lavezzi is not needed.
It is a very Baldini kind of acquisition, but we understand he no longer has that decision making power.
Good thing.
