All out Attack – Arsenal's Probable Starting XI vs Man City

Arsenal FCHaving won their first trophy in 9 years, Arsenal will look to start the new season with another in the form of Community Shield.
The Gunners will collide with the premier league champions Manchester City on 10th August.
North Londoners will be without their German World Cup winners, Podolski, Ozil and Mertesacker but still have enough depth.
Arsene Wenger’s men failed to win the Emirates Cup as Radamel Falcao inspired Monaco defeated them yesterday.
Expect Vermaelen and Koscielny to start in central defense in the absence of Mertesacker. New signings Debuchy and Alexis Sanchez are likely going to start as well after impressing against Monaco. That might be Vermaelen’s last game for the Gunners.
Wenger may use Wilshere and Ramsey in midfield to go all out attack on City.

    I don’t think we will see Giroud.
    Sanogo or Campbell would better bet.

    If Wenger set up this team with Giroud and Wilshire playing in those exact positions, I think ManC will win the Shield this weekend

    its a time to go out there and prove our preparedness and readiness to compete wth champions,to prove that we need a formidable force,i dont see giroud in the picture of this team,sanogo and campbell are better bets

    Chambers in place of Vermaelen and Arteta in place of Wilshere. Subs: Martinez, Monreal, Wilshere, Rosicky, Flamini, Campbell & Sanogo.
