Liverpool are linked with numerous quality players now that the winter transfer window is open and once again Manuel Lanzini is in the lime light as well.
Back in August, we covered a report (via the Sun) claiming that Liverpool wanted to sign the West Ham star to replace Coutinho. The Brazilian star eventually stayed with the Reds.
Things may change in the winter transfer window as reports suggest that the Samba star is getting closer and closer to Barca (Mundo Deportivo).

Now, the Sun have come up with another exclusive report and claim that 24-year-old Lanzini is on Klopp’s hit list as Liverpool’s No.1 choice to replace Philippe at Anfield.
The Argentine playmaker has been terrific for the Hammers in the Premier League but is he really good enough to replace Coutinho at Anfield?
Manuel is naturally an attacking midfielder but he can effectively play in the central midfield as well. In the current campaign, he has so far featured in 15 games (all competitions) scored 1 goal and provided 7 assists.
Lanzini’s current contract with West Ham will expire in 2020 and as per the provided Sun link, he would cost more than 40 million pounds ($54million).
