Man United are Closing in to Seal Enormous $117.6million Deal

Thomas Muller Toni Kroos Bayern MunichManchester United may have won their first two Premier League games but in both fixtures, the Red Devils were far from convincing.
Goes without saying that the Old Trafford club can forget about winning the Premier League title this season if they do not adequately improve their attack before the summer transfer window closes.
Man United were eager to sign Barcelona attacker Pedro to replace Argentine Angel Di Maria. However, the Spaniard has ditched the Red Devils to join their PL rivals Chelsea.
Now, Louis van Gaal is focusing on two quality players to reinforce his attack. According to reports, Man United are closing in to seal enormous $117.6m double deal to sign Southampton star Mane and Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller.
Sadio-Mane-SouthamptonMane was impressive for the Saints last season and scored the faster ever hat-trick in PL history.
The Senegalese star directly contributed in 14 Premier League goals last season and has all the traits (speed, trickery and goals) to be a major hit with United.
On the other hand, Thomas Muller needs no introduction whatsoever. He is a proven World Class player who will largely improve Man United’s attack without a shadow of a doubt.
With only ten days remaining in the summer transfer window, Louis van Gaal must step up the transfer activity and secure the duo as soon as possible. Failure to do so can adversely influence Man United’s entire season.

LVG becoming a liability for Man UTD. If he can’t address the negative perceptions surrounding his managerial style, world class players will not want to move to our club and neither will they want to commit to the club into the long term? Di Maria, Pedro, Ramos, Bale. I thank LVG for his part in luring Memphis and Basti but the question remains, how long will they stay if he continues to be brash before delivering anything on the pitch. Will he alienate them when there’s a misunderstanding in the dressing room or a dip in form? Successfully overcoming difficult players and situations is surely a skill he must’ve learnt at some point in his career
Being brash is/should be a luxury earned when he’s added a Premier League and/or Champions League trophy to ManUtd’s cabinet. Right now there’s only SAF trophies. SAF knew how to keep a low public profile when it mattered – ‘discretion is the better part of valor’ should be LVG’s mantra. Sir Alex, in my opinion, exercised discretion when it mattered and our club’s image remained positive regardless of the many mistakes he may have made

LVG must take prompt action to sign any two of Muller, Mane, Higuain, Griezmann, Cavani, Ibra, Gotze, Lewandowski. The fans do not want to see that those are not materialized for any reason. Woodward and LVG must work hard to finalize the deals at any cost.
